I CHDHAUS, WASHINGTON Frank Kent Dies Friday At 41 After Long Ulness Local friends of Frank Kent were grieved to learn of his death, which occurred Friday morning at the family family home on Alfred atreet. He had long been ill and the end was not unexpected. He waa 41 years of age and was the son of I. N. More Trouble in Appointive Offices in State Capitol Another flare-up in the long list of resignations and discharges at the state, capitol at Olyapia was noted last week. Judge John C. Denney, director of the department of public works since the present governor took office, asked for the resignation of Fred K. Baker, a fellow member of the department, owing to disagreement disagreement over policies. He says Baker refused to consult him about department department matters. Baker took the matter matter up with the governor, and Friday Judge Denney was asked to resign, which he promptly did. At the same time he said in his letter to the governor governor that he reserves the right to tell the truth about the situation.
