-Road by Appalachian No. son Martin Burns Princeton Man Succumbs At PRINCETON (RNS)-Abraham H. Luikous, 64, of 1412 North Walker St. died Monday evening in Memorial Hospital. He was a veteran school of Mercer County, having taught in the county schooj system for 35 years. He served as principal of Ceres, Knob Street and Thorn Street schools in Princeton and was teacher and principal of School in Bluefield for 25 years. He had continued his school duties until May. A graduate of VPI, Marshall University, and Concord College, he received his STaster's Degree from Columbia University in New York City. Born in Montgomery County, Va., Sept. 10, 1895, he was a of the late Git and Jennie Linkous. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. J. B. Akers of Russell, and one brother, Luck Linkous Glenwood Park. The funeral services win be conducted at 2 p.m. today in -the George W. Seaver Memorial Chapel Chapel with the Rev. Norman G. Crawford in charge. Burial will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home. Active pallbearers will be Harold Harold and Warren Linkous, Willard Akers, Linvingston Price, James Walker, and Virgil Bailey: Honorary -pallbearers wfll be Mercer County School teachers and members of the Board of Education. the and H.
