Burnham was bom Jan. 15, 1883, in Salt Lake City, a son of James Lewis and Amy Blanche Penrose Burnham. He met Nora Rebecca Forsgren in Brigham City. They were married married by his maternal grandfather, grandfather, Charles William Penrose, who was first counselor of the LDS Church. Mrs. Burnham was bom Nov. 19, 1882, in Brigham Brigham Cith, Utah. The Burnhams homesteaded in 1912 in Dairy Creek, Idaho, and moved to Arimo in 1939.
