74, Sarah K. Minton Mrs. Sarah K. Minton, of 210 Lake St., widow A.E. Minton, died Sunday 5 p.m. at Hospitality West, where she had been patient two years. She been ill a number of Mrs. Minton was born Carlisle, Ky., Dec. 23, the daughter of John and Permelia Roberts Blount. She moved to the Xenia community in 1941 from Blanchester, and she and her husband and organized the Southside Church of God, of which was a member. Her husband, whom she married Dec. 16, preceded her in death in 1965. A son, Samuel, three sisters, two brothers and g r e a t - g r a n d predeceased her. Mrs. Minton is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Oliver (Gladys) Howard Anderson, Ind., Mrs. Harold (Lois) Golditz of Dayton, Permelia Minton and Mrs. Dale (Violet) McFarland Xenia; five sons. Preston, Elbert and Chester Minton of Xenia, Emmett and Minton of Dayton; 26 grandchildren and 30 great- grandchildren. The Rev. Elmer Joe Sweet, pastor of the Southside Church of God, will officiate at services Tuesday at 1 p.m. at church. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 3 to tonight at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., and at the church from noon until service time Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the fund of the church.
