STEVEN CONNOR Steven Connor, 80, retired barber, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at his- home, 1003 Simon Avenue, at 1:15 a.m. Thursday. His son. the Rev. Donald Connor, Connor, C.Ss.R., of New Orleans, La., will be the celebrant of solemn requiem mass at 9 a.m. Saturday at the St. Lawrence Church here. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Cemetery. The body is remaining at the Sharp Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday. * Mr. Connor had followed the barber trade in Carroll and Omaha. After his retirement in 1945, he made his home here with his brother, brother, Joseph, and sisters, Irene and Katherine Connor. A son of Thomas and Bridget Connor, he was born Oct. 28, 1875, at Clinton, Iowa. As a young boy he came to Carroll with his parents. parents. He was married to Alice Ryan Nov. 17, 1904, at. St. Peter's Church in Omaha. Mrs. Connor died in 1928. Two brothers are also deceased, deceased, John and Owen Connor. Besides his son, Fr. Connor of St. Alphonse parish, New Orleans, Mr. Connor his survived by a sister, sister, Mrs. Mary Daiker of Santa Ana, Calif., in addition to the brother brother and sisters with whom he made his home.
