I nder a new ruling, you may now enlist in the I . S. Army for the specific purpose of attend* ing Officer Candidate School, provided the quotas are not filled. You must he a c itizen of the I nited States, and a man of high moral character, aide to meet the nect>*ary physical requirements. Jo hike advantage of this unusual privilege, you may submit submit your application to the Commanding («eneral of the Army area in which you live. If you are selected, you will he enlisted in the Army as StaiT Sergeant. If you have not had hauic training or its equivalent, \ou will he given thi> training • before entering Officer Candidate School. If you tut* a sur< candidate, you will he commissioned un Sec ond Lieutenant in the Officers H< serve ( oi j»s and placed on active duly for two years, during which time you may compete for a Hegtilur Army Commission.
