CLIFTON SPRINGS - John D. Girdis, 73, of Waterways Trailer Court, Rt. 31, Palmyra, formerly of Clifton Springs, died Wednesday in Clifton Springs Hospital following a long illness. He was born in Turkey and owned and operated a restaurant in Rochester; and Honeoye prior to moving here. In 1953 he moved from Clifton Springs to Palmyra where he owned and operated the Waterways Trailer court. He is survived by his wife, Martha, a son, Livonia, Mich.; and two grandchildren.
