Riehl, more familiarly known as "Cooney" Jtlehl. held "open house" to his many friends, and many there were who took advantage of the opportunity of wishing him many happy returns of the day. Mr. Riehl is as , lively and bright intellectually, as he was the day he arrived in Slocum Hollow from Der Faterland, away back in 1S50 and it is a pleasant hour ene ma spend with him listening to a recount of the stirring events connected with the growth 'of our city and the entire valley. Mr. Riehl just deserves the rest and comfort he findsln a pleasant home - on Sterling street with his daughter. Mrs. Nathan Hills.
