J j Card of Thanks We wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the many acts of kindness, beautiful flowers and messages of sympathy from friends and neighbors during the loss of our loved one.—Mrs. Glenn Hostetter and children. bttttattt Archie Glenn Hostetter was born Feb. 12 1910, at Blenco, la., and departed this life June 13, 1953, at the age of 43 years, 4 months and 1 day. He' was the son of James and Edna Hostetter. He. grew to' manhood manhood on a farm near Blue.Mound, Kas. He was a veteran of World War II, enlisting in December of 1940 anl served until October, 1945. During most of that time he was with the 127th F. A. Bn. It was with the 35th Division. which participated participated in the Normandy landing and the 1 Battle of the Bulge. Glenn served in these and other battlesT He was| an active member of the American Legion and was commander commander of the Blue Mound post. His mother preceded him in death in January, 1952. He-is survived by | his wife, two stepchildren, Patty and Larry Walden. his father, James Hostetter. Blue Mound, two . sisters. JMrs. Cecil Underwood, Blue Mound,| and Mrs. Joseph Perez, ' Leavenworth, a brother, Gerald Hos- I tetter, Borger. Tex. 1 He was a kind and loving husband, husband, a real father to-his step- 1 children, loving them and loved.by them, and will be' sadly missed by. all who knew him.
