Six Americans Drown in Korea By Associated Press MUNSAN, Korea, Aug. 29. — Six American boldiers drowned when the rapidly rising Imjin river trapped and overturned their truck last night. Seven companions on the truck escapeu. The men swept off the truck drowned in full view of their buddies buddies on both banks of the Imjin. The army withheld their names. The 13 men of the 24th Division were returning to the United Nations Nations side of the river from patrol duty on the west bank. "Everybody on the top left hand side of the truck," ordered Sgt. Robert Rickert of Belleville, 111. "I think she's going to roll over." Rickert told all the men to strip so they would have a better chance in the swift water. A few minutes later the truck turned over.
