Last year he taught in New York city and filled many concert engagements. This fall he went west, locating In Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where he has charge of a large choral society and is also filling a responsible church position. Everyone who heard him sing will recall the charming quality of his voice and his devotion to music. Mr. Filson's home is in Salem, O., and he spent some time there this summer before leaving for his new work, in the west. * * *
