Abilene Woman Survived by 148 Descendants Dies Mrs. R. S. Maxwell. 80, who Is lurvived by 148 direct descendants, died Thursday night at the home til a son. J. C. Maxwell. 2941 Ambler Ambler St. Mrs. Maxwell's home was at 2701 Green St. Sh* had been critically ill since luffering a heart attack last Thursday Thursday evening while visiting her son. Borp at Rome, Ga., on Sept. 28, 1870. Mrs. Maxwell was married to R. S. Maxwell in Georgia fa year» ago. She was the former Adi Virginia Deems. Shortly after tnelr marriage, the couple moved to Texas, settling at Waco. They moved to Abilene In J909. funeral services will be held at the J. C. Maxwell home, at 3 p. Thursday wilh the Rev. Dick Persons Persons officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. J. J. Kmsfather. pastor ol the United I'entccoslal Church Burial will be in Ihe Hamby Cemetery beside the grave of her husband who died In 1934. Klliott's funeral Home ivill be in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be six grandsons. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. J. W. Massey, Mrs. K. W. Hutchins, Mrs. H. McMahan, and Mrs. Edward Galle. all of Abilene, and Mrs. L'.ita Thomas. Stamford- five sons, J. 0. Maxwell. J. R Maxwell, J. M. Maxwell, R H Maxwell, and G. C. Maxwell, all of Abilene.
