Dennis Blackman Jr. was free on a cash and property bond charge of raping a 16 year old girl at his home on January 31, 1990. He was confined to his home as conditions of the bond and would have gone to jail if she had reported him out of his house, this may have been the motive fro killing Liscombe, to avoid having his bond revoked, contends Robert McColloch, county prosecutor. Liscombe had played a minor role in Blackman's arrest in the rape case.
