5 Fatalities Hike Road Toll to 57 By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS A car plunged down a 30 foot embankment after missing a coun- y road curve near Granite Falls early today, killing two persons. A Rochester area girl was injured atally in another crash involving two cars carrying teen-agers. Six persons were injured in the two crashes, two critically. Toll Reaches 57 The deaths, with two others over the weekend raised the Minnesota highway traffic toll to 57, com-' pared with 62 up to this time a year ago. Jacqueline Schutz, 19, Pine Island, Island, died in St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, early today, of injuries suffered in an intersection crash at Highway 52 and a county road a mile south of Oronoco, Minn, about 8:30 p.m. Sunday. She was riding in a car driven by her brother, Wayne Robert Schutz, 18, Pine Island. Seriously Hurt Schutz escaped with bruises. .lunette Cowden, 17, Pine Island, also a passenger in the car, was ; seriously hurt. David Donald Egger, 16, Norwood, Norwood, Minn., driver of the second car, was in critical condition with injuries. Roger Eggert, 17, and Raren Eggeft ^ also Norwood, sufferd lacerations and other injuries. All were taken to St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester.
