Funeral Planned PRINCETON (RNS) -- Noah Russell Lawrence, 72, of Princeton died Monday in a Princeton hospital after a long illness. Born in Montgomery County, Va., Sept. 6, 1896, he was a son of the late Archie A. and Virginia Pettrey Lawrence, a retired employe of the Pioneer Coal Co. of Princeton and a member of the Rogers Street Community C h u x c h Princeton. He was preceded in death his first wife, Mrs. Nannie Lawrence, in 1961. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rebecca S p e n c Lawrence; three daughters, Mis. Wanda L. Sizemore of Sophia, Mrs. Annabelle Wise of Chesterland, Ohio, and Mrs. Patrica Kanode of Princeton; a son, Noah Russell Jr. of Princeton; .two stepdaughters, Mrs. Salley Mae Owens and Mrs. Mildred N. Tillow, both of Washington, D. C; a stepson, Rufus Phillips Crigger of Bluefield; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Elizabeth Miller of Oak Hill Mrs. Hazel Anna Martin of Columbus, Ohio; four brothers, Ryan McNeilus Lawrence of Rock, Oscar Harless of Hampton, Va., Robert Leslie of Kegley and Zed Wesley of Princeton; 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Rogers Street Community Church in Princeton with Rev. Eugene Pennington and Rev. Paul Hall in charge. Burial will be in Brown's Chapel Cemetery near Lick Creek. The body is at the Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton and will be taken to the church hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Jack and Willard Pool, Walter Ducan, Noah Blankenship, J i m Thornhill and Tracy Holdren. Women of the church will carry flowers.
