Otto and Rnbert Suite, Leavenworth, were recent guests at the Walter Moech home. Mr and Mis. Peter (Annetta) Watkins, St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada, and Mr, and Mrs. Max Van Gaasbeek, Jon and Eric. Burkosville, Ky., spent the holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Van Gaasbeek, Mr. and Mrs. Max Van Gaasbeek left for Manhattan to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Nichols. Senior Cititens met at the Legion Hall recently for a dinner. President Bertha Weishaar opened the program with the flag salute and Ed Nieman gave the blessing. There were 24 members and four, guests, Mr, and Mrs. Sirron and Mr, and Mrs. Harry Barber, Atchison, present. Mrs. Viola McBride, Teressa Swank, Bertha Hoffman, and Daisy Turner were hostesses. Effic Sirron won mgft lor women and Esther Schneider was low in cards and Harry Barber high for men and Clarence Wilke low. The next meeting will be Jan. 17, al noon. Anna Weishaar and Nellie McCoy will be hostesses. Mr. and Mrs. Merle Xoelcen and family, Holyrood, were guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Doug McCoy. A combination Christmas dinner was held Sunday and a birthday party for Brian, 2, son of Mr. and Mrs, Joe McCoy, Atchison. Brian's great grandmother, Mrs. Melissa McCoy, was a guest.
