8 Wednesday, June 23 t 1971 Delta Democrat-Times Greenville, Mississippi Jackson-Generelly vows The wedding of Amy Generally to Harold Dean Jackson Jn was solemnized at 4 p.m. Saturday at St. James Episcopal Church. Miss Generelly is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Generelly of Greenville, and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dean Jackson of Cheraw, S.C. Her grandparents are the late Judge and Mrs. Virgil Rule of St. Louis and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roger Generelly of New Orleans. The groom's grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hampton Rivers of Chesterfield, S.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Heid Jackson of Anderson, S.C. The Rev. Reynolds S. Cheney performed the single ring ceremony. Acolyte was Robert Eskrigge. Music was provided by Mrs. James Robertshaw. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Mrs. John Lawrence of West Point, Ga., was her only attendant. The groom's father was best man, and ushers were Robert Percy of Greenville and Charles Jackson of Cheraw. A reception for members of the family followed at the bride's home. After a wedding trip to Nantucket, Mass. Mr. and Mrs. Jackson will be at home in Montgomery, Ala. . Out of town wedding guests were Mr. and "Mrs. Harold D. Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jackson and Alice Jackson, all of Cheraw; Mrs. Calvin Rivers of Chesterfield, S. C.; Dr. and Mrs. Robert Avinger, Mary Charles Avinger and Robert Avinger, all of Davidson, N.C.; Sam Dean of Columbia, S.C.; Mrs. Reid Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Reid Jackson Jr. and Fred Jackson, all of Ocala, FJa., and Mr. and Mrs. James Wilson of Montgomery. ·Other out of town guests were Dr. and Mrs. Peter Roger Generelly arid Peter Roger Generelly III of Charlottesville, Va.; Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Day of St. Louis; Mr. and Mrs. Walker Percy and Ann Boyd Percy of Covington, La., and Mr. and Mrs. John Lawrence and Duncan Lawrence of West Point, Ga. Shower fetes Miss Murphree -Marsha Murphree, bride-elect of Jack Bishop Jr. of Indianola was guest of honor at a miscellaneous shower in the home of Mrs. Fred Krugler with Mrs. Max Watson and Mrs. David Willard as co-hostesses. Miss Murphree wore a printed voile trousseau dress with matching accessories, and a gift corsage of gardenias. The hostesses presented her a wedding gift.
