Boys' High School, Second District. The Boys' High School, of the Second District, District, is in a nourishing condition. It contains fifty pupils, of ages ranging from fourteen to seventeen. The majority are, however, but a little above fourteen. The principal of the school, Mr. Romain, is one who was educated in the schools of the District. As a teacher, he possesses marked excellencies. A good scholar, yet still a close student; affable, yet dignified, in his intercourse intercourse with the pupils ; possessing the power of making himself understood, and of communicating communicating knowledge, ho is admirably fitted for the position" he holds, and his classes bear testimony to his success in his honorable vocation.
