Dr. Vladimir K. Zworykin, vice-president of the Radio Corporation of America, was ed the society's progress medal last night at the group's 68th semi-annual conven'.ion. Charles R. Fordyce. superin .endent of the Eastman Kodak company's department of manufacturing experiments received the Samuel L. Warner memorial Award medal. Dr. Frederick J. Kolb. Jr.. another Eastman Kodak engin- ffr. was eivpn fhp Journal award. The society cited Dr. Zworykin as the inventor of the icono scope, television's electronic camera "eye."
