American Legion. Passed Away in Sioux City Hospital Mrs. S. S. Stewart of Sioux City, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Shuck of Hawarden, passed away Wednesday afternoon in a Sioux City hospital, following a year's illness. She was 52 years of age and had resided in Sioux City for the past 19,years. Mrs. Stewart was born at Grinnell Iowa, May 24, 1877, and lived there until she was four years old. The next five years she spent at Melvin when she came to Union county with her parents where they settled on a farm near Alcester. She was united in marriage with Sidney S. Stewart in 1891 She was a member of the Rustin Avenue Methodist Episcopal church in Sioux City. Sh'e is survived by her husband; six sons, Raymond, Edwin, Glen and Harvey of Sioux City; Willard o: St. Paul and Harold of Des Moiues two daughters, Ethel and Violet Stew art of Sioux City. She also leaves her aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Shuck of Hawarden; two sisters, Mrs G. W. Fickbohm of Alcester and Mrs J. P. Payne of Pollock, S. D.;«and six brothers, George of Wendell, Minn. Charles of Elk Point, S. D.; Bert o Alcester; Perry of Beresford; Carl o: Hawarden $nd Harry of Sergean Bluff. A
