Drue N. Moore Dies At 81; Rites East Of Sesser Drue N. Moore, 81, a retired Jaxmer, died at 1 a.m. Sunday at the Oaks Nursing Home in DuPage county, Hi. of cardiac insufficiency. He was born in Franklin county February 17, 1877, the son of William D. and Nancy Ann (McFatridge) Moore. He was married to Matilda E. Kelly in 1899. Mr. Moore was a member of the Horse Prairie Missionary Baptist church. He was affiliated with the Modem Woodmen of Waltonville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Horse Prairie church, east of Sesser, conducted by the Rev. Hugh Moore. Burial will be in Maple Hill cemetery at Sesser. Friends may call at the Fry Funeral Home in Waltonville after 3 pxa. Tuesday. The body will be taken to the church at noon Wednesday to lie in state. Surviving are three sons, Or ville K. and Willaim E. D. of Elmhurst, 111., and Willard of Rockford; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Campbell of Sesser and Mrs. Merle Mannen of Rockford; three brothers. Sam, John and Alfred of Sesser; and two sisters, Mrs. James Davis of Sesser and Mrs. Mary Gruchala of Sesser. His wife died April 21, 1953. Mr. Moore formerly lived in Waltonville and when he retired from farming moved to Sesser. He had been in the nursing home at Hinsdale for three years.
