at Set Art Exhibit In Local Clubhouse Another feature of the ighth district convention will be an ajrt exhibit at Woman's 'lub tomorrow, Friday and Saturday. The show will consist of paintings from each district by professional and non-professional artists and nigh school art students. Local artists exhibiting will, be Louis Teel, Elmer Boone, Eugene Thurston, Vera Wise,' Kate Ball, Helen Bilger, Carl Cogar, Lois Denton, Alec Cowan, Grace Smith, Eloise Hobble, Wanda Herman, Harris Shelton, Fern Thurston, Richard Went, Floyd Crews and Lucille Liggett. Stella Beaudett, Mary Steen, Manuel Acosta, Vivian Cantrell, Enon Haas, Dorothy Patterson, Holly Thurston, Carlos Aguilar,' and Songolo Renteria. * * * EL PASO HIGH Schools that have students who will exhibit art work are El Paso High School, Austin, Bowie, Thomas Jefferson, Technical Institute and Radford School for rirls. Students from Texas Western College and El Paso Technical [nstitute will enter their work in the non-professional group. Ribbons will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each group. Judges for the professional group will be Tom Lea, Richard Licht and Urbici Soler, and judges for the non-professional group will be Helen Bilger, Louis Teel and C. Gonzalez. Judges for the high school group will be Vera Wise, Eugene Thurston and Kate Ball. * * * .MRS J. S. HENDRICKS of Acala, Tex., is the art chairman for the Eighth District Texas Federation of Women's Clubs. Mrs. Eugene Thurston is art exhibit chairman for the Woman's Club of El Paso. Mrs. S. A. Douglas and Mrs. Kate Ball will assist in receiving the paintings at the Woman's Club today and tomorrow afternoon.
