MERCHANT DROPS DEAD AS HE ENTERS STORE BELLBFONTB, July 9.-—Joseph Franklin Thai, aged 55, well known merchant and confectioner, dropped dead yesterday afternoon at 4.30 o'clock as, he was being \taken Into the store on High street after he had complained of feeling ill. Mr. Thai was assisting In painting a car on the street in front of his store when he complained of feeling ill and he was assisted into the store where he txpired. > He was born at Roopsburg, the son ot Mathlas and Catherine (Fusser) Thai, both deceased. He Is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Thai, and an adopted son, Francis Thai of Tyrone, and one brother and one sister, Michael Thai and Mrs. Alfred Beezer, both of Belle- fontci. . Funeral services will be . conducted in the local Catholic church Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, in charge of the pastor, Rev. William Downes. Interment will be made in the Catholic, cemetery.
