Present Awards at State Valley members of Zeta Tau Alpha will be among representatives at 10 a.m. Saturday when the sorority sorority holds its annual State Day on the SS Princess Louise/at. Terminal Island. Featured speaker will be-"Florence Mendenhall, director of student.activi- ties and alumni affairs at Woodbury College. Mrs. Mendenhall, whose topic will be "The College Student Student Today," is liaison between between the student body and the student activities committee. A social hour will begin at ll:45.a.m. and luncheon will be" served at 12:30 p:m.. .Mrs. Claire Pike, toastmistress, toastmistress, · will introduce presidents of the South- ern'r California alumnae chapters and the two collegiate collegiate groups at Woodbury;'College. Woodbury;'College. Mrs. Harvey Goodrich, president of the sorority federation, will present awards to the outstanding senior and pledge from the collegiate units. The n a t i o n a l Certificate of Merit and Order of the Shield Awards will be turned over to qualifying alumnae by Mrs. Bruce McEntire, district president. president. Mrs. John Melstrom, L o n g Beach Alumnae Chapter member, is in charge of plans. Valley residents plan- ning to attend are Mmes. Gerald Gaddie, Willard Bird, Kenneth Greer, R. Bruce Metcalf, James Tolin, Tolin, G. M. Jennings. Bill Schubert, Dennis Wehmueller, Wehmueller, Douglas Raduenz and Robert Fraze.
