Death of Norman Stanley. Mr. Norman Stanley, ono of the most opulent farmers in Madison county, died Saturday evening at his residence two miles east of Upper Alton, after a lingering illness, in the 70th year of his age. Mr. Stanley was a cousin of Mr. R. P. Stanley, of Long Lake. He leaves a widow and throe children: Mrs. Prof. L. M. Castlo, of Springfield; Mrs. A. L. Hoblitt, of Curllnvllle, and Mr. Wasson Stanloy, of Upper Alton.
