Last Rites Are Conducted For Sen. Fullerton HURON Wl — Funeral rites were conducted Monday for Sen. Carroll Fullerton who died Friday morning following a car-truck crash which claimed two other victims. A host of stute legislators was expected to attend, along with John Trevillyan, representing Gov, Archie Gubbrud as his executive assistant; highway patrol superintendent Cullen With and Dean Clabaugh, director of the Legislative Research Council. Burial was slated for Huron's Riverside cemetery following services by Dr. Morris Kildahl of the First Methodist Church. Gov. Gubbrud, currently in Minot, N. D., for a meeting of the Missouri Basin Inter - Agency Committee, was unable to attend. "It was a great loss to the state," he commented earlier on Fullerton's death. Fullerton, 60, a Huron Democrat, died in St. John's Hospital early Friday morning following surgery. Also killed in the Wednesday afternoon crash were Frank Sanderson and Ralph Bischoff, two Huron businessmen. Survivors include the widow, a daughter, Rilla-Bea, and a son, Hugh Robert.
