George Heer, well known and highly respected residents of Derlnda township, just south of' Elizabeth, celebrated their 50th or golden wedding anniversary at their farm home on Sunday when friends and relatives gathered to join them in the glad occasion. Georgo Heer was born in Buffalo, N. y., and AliS.s Margaret H'eer In Germany, When a young lady she this country and was united in marriage to Air. Heer'at Derinda Center on Dec. 26, 1S76. - Since their marriage they have.resided in."that community. ,A sumptuous dinner was served to the guests who remembered Afr. and Afrs. Heer with many beautiful and useful gifts. The day was spent in a plea.sant social manner. The sons and daughters and immediate families present were: Mr. and Airs. Chris Hoer, Afr. and Airs.
