R, Wicks, of Willows, Is president, Miss Maynio Doyle, of Red Bluff, is secretary. There wore present these two officers, a large number of tho pastors of the district, and tho following delegates: Mr. Ben Klukkert, ot Anderson, Miss Bessie Swafford and Mrs. 0. B. Weaver, ot Arbucklc. Mlssea Eu- Eonta Squires, Hattle Belle Caswell, Carrie Daly, Messrs. A. P. Daly and P. B. Arnold, Misses Rose Lane and Mabel Lowell, of CUlco, Mrs. W. A. Orr, Miss Sophia Hlchler and Harold Harbin, ot Maxwell, Mrs. Claudo Thompson and Miss Victoria Doyle, of Red Bluff, Misses Irene Bird, Laura Mahon, Irene Sannders, Annie Chlsm, Messrs. Clarence Klmball, Wilson McRay and L. B. Peary, of Yubn. City, L. E. Thomas, of Suitor City, Win. Harrison and Timothy Plantz, of Cranmorn. Several visitors not members of tho leagues In tho district are also In attendance. Among these Is Prof. Noel H. Garrison, of Stockton, thrlrt vice- president of the state organization. Tho exercises were resumed this morning at 9 o'clock. After devotional exercises reports from the league's chapters were called for. The reports were very encouraging. Some of tho chapters were not represented by delegates, but their reports were sent In. Aa these reports were read the ofllcers and pastors asked pertinent qeustlons and made pithy remarks. Great enthusiasm was maul- Cfst. The reports received showed a membership in tho senior league of about 300 anil In the junior league of about 126. The exercises continued all day. Thla afternoon there will he a paper on Missions, by Miss Hamilton, of Wheat- iKiul, n paper OH "The Quiet Hour," by Miss M. Doyle, of Reel Hlult, and papers by Misses Hanford and Daly. Election of officers will close the exercises, attor which a reception will be tendered to the leaguers. On Sunday the league spirit will enter Into all the services. At 11 a. m. Rev. R. F. Allen will preach on "Training." At 7vl5 p. in., the regular preaching hour, the visiting leaguers will conduct the service.
