ATTEND FUNERAL Among those attending the funeral.of Ray V. Fitch, which was held at Burt Methodist Church Thursday, January 18 from this area, were the Lawrence Millers, the Elmer Doles, the Kenneth Roneys and the Robert Caseys. Pallbearers were Edmund 'Larson, Willis Vogel, Jesse Harms, William Christensen, Russell Shipler and Raymond Nelson. Relatives attending the funeral from out of town were Mrs. Daisy Stevenson and daughters, the Don Andersons, all of Britt, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Deibler, Miller, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Clark, Grand Meadows, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Don Clark, Corwith, Mr. and Mrs. Chet Fitch, Rockwell City, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fitch, Renwick, Mr. and Mrs. Rich McDowell, Dawson, Iowa, and Mrs. Mark Schore, Des Moines, and several grandchildren. Mark Schore is in Vietnam. The Ray V. Fitches lived in the Irvington area for many years, before moving to Burt. They lived on the late Herman Plathe farm from 1905 to 1921; on the Brass farm, now owned by Mrs. Blanche Lage, from 1921 to 1927 and on the Paxson farm from 1927 to 1948 when they moved to the Burt, area. The buildings on the Paxson farm have now all been'removed'.
