The funeral arrangements, arrangements, have not yet been made,-though the remains will be taken to Dwight, JE11., for burial, probably tomorrow. The deceased was twenty-four yesra of age.' He, with, his wife and baby came to this city from'Charleston, W. Va., about a month ago and was taken ill shortly after his arr.val. He was born in Indianapolis; Ind. • Miss Emma Schorie, of Dwight, a sister of Mrs. Ballard, arrived in the city Wednesday , afternoon and Mr. Crist Schorie, her father, will arrive this evening. : Though a resident here but .a short_ time, Mr._Ballard has/made many friends who will mourn his death. He was well liked by his fellow workmen, was a kind husband and was popular with all who knew him.
