Beamers Elect Officers New officers were elected at the Beamer family reunion Sunday at the Centralia City Park. Kenneth Harrison of Holliday was chosen president; Bob Beamer of Mexico president; and Miss Frankie Beamer of Centralia, secretary and treasurer. Prizes were awarded to CALENDAR FRIDAY Audrain Democratic Club meeting, Aug. 25, at Courthouse Community Room. Covered dish supper begins at 7 p.m., business meeting at 7:30 p.m. Secretary of State James C. Kirkpatrick will be featured speaker. SATURDAY Glass recycling pick-up, 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, at Auxvasse Auxvasse Jaycee Hall. SUNDAY Champ Beamer of Moberly, oldest person present; Chad Isgrig of Centralia, youngest; Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Beamer and children of Clarksburg, W. Va., traveling the farthest; Alvin Beamer of Mexico, man with the biggest feet, and Mrs. Kenneth Harrison of Holliday, women with smallest foot. Penny Heitmeyer led the group in the pledge of allegiance and Sally Robinson gave the devotion. Mrs. Carroll Love presided at the short business meeting. John Ed Harris of Columbia presented a talk on "Where My Tax Dollar Goes." The council's council's next meeting will be Nov. 18 when new officers will be installed for 1973.
