Mr. Tremmel, a native of Newark, NJ, died at Pleasant Valley Manor Nursing Home in Stroudsburg, Pa. He lived in South Plainfield, NJ before moving to Pa. 3 years ago. A WWII Navy Vet, he is survived by his wife Vera; a son Joseph III of Marshalls Creek, Pa.; a daughter Veronica Peters of Bradley Beach, NJ; a brother Rudolph Tremmel of Union, NJ; 2 sisters, Anne Schaffernoth of Springfield, NJ and Betty Smith of Union, NJ, plus 5 grandchildren.
