Grant Penrod Of Provo Succumbs * Grant Forsyth Penrod, 61, 4115 N. 200 E., Provo, died Friday Friday night at the Utah Valley Hospital of a heart attack. He was born Oct. 31, 1908; in Provo, a son of Charles Wells and Sarah Sarah Forsyth P e n r o d. He married Elma Osguthorpe pn Oct. 7, 1932, in Salt Lake City. Mr. Penrod Mr. Penrod received his education in Provo City schools, later graduating from the Brigham Young University. University. For 12 years he was a school teacher in the Provo District. For 28 years he worked as a pipe fitter, following construction. construction. He was a member of Plumbers a n d Steamfititers, Local 466. . His hobbies included hunting, fishing arid gardening. FOJ the past several years he had done much traveling and rock hunting. hunting. Surviving are his widow of Provo; one son and one daughter, daughter, R. Gary Penrod, Los Angeles, Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. LaVere (Rarelyn) Adams, Hayward, Calif. ; seven grandchildren, and five sisters, Mrs. Jacob -(Leda) Hullingef, Mr$. Justin ' j ; (Don^ na) Winkler and Mrs. George (Lois) Yager, all of Provo; Mrs. flay (Helen) Strong, Sprlngville, and Mrs. Venice Mulching, Co- Jumbus, Ohio. Funeral services will be Monday Monday at 2 p.m. in the Berg Drawing Drawing Room Chapel, with Bishop Charles Y. Warner, Ed'gempnt LDS Third officiating.
