' Tonrteem Gas Hunters Burned. Latxtxtte, Ind.. March 20. The Lafayette Natural Gas company struck another gusher at Kempton, Tipton county, yesterday. . The drill had penetrated Trenton Trenton rock twelve feet when the pressure . became became very great and the drill was withdrawn. withdrawn. ' When it came near the top in some manner the gas was ignited and instantly instantly a stream of fire leaped forth. In the little room around the derrick were fourteen persons, and every one was more or less burned, four of them badly. - The most seriously injured are: George Stevenson, F. M. Price, ' John ' Sellers, Robert Sellers, James Merritt, John Fry, David Bobher, Mack Garnett, William Conner, Arthur Goodnight and J. M. Evoy. '" "-''" 1.
