WOMAN SATS SHE WAS FORCED INTO FORGERY T Franklin, Pa., Aug. 28. Miss Agnes Marsh, alias Martha D. Close, Girard, Pa., alleged accomplice of J. D. Barkey, alls Howard Kellogg, Conneaut, O., ac cused of forgery, may not be prosecuted on the charges if restitution is made, according to word from Erie authorities who are holding her for. September term of court. Barkey pleaded guilty and is now serving two and a half to five years In Western Pennsylvania Penitentiary. Miss Close told Erie officers she had become Involved in the check passing through answering an advertisement. She said Barkey had promised to pay her $20 rf week for "soliciting advertising." A week later when she discovered he was passing checks he threatened her with a revolver several times and she was finally forced to remain with him.
