Montgomery Campbell Thaxton-Crow drowns
NT Student Dies, On Vacation Staff Report FORT WORTH - A North Texas Slate University student apparently drowned and was buried in Acapulco, Mexico, during the weekend. Mexican officials said Montgomery Montgomery Campbell Thaxlon- Crow III, 21, drowned Friday when he was swepl fully clothed clothed off a beach out to sea. They said he was buried in Acapulco Sunday. Thaxlon- CrOw, insurance major at North Texas Slate, was the son of Mrs. John Degani of Fort Worth and Charles H. Crow of Lake Worlh. The parents of Ihe youth were officially notified Sunday, and the father said he was uncertain whether he could have the body returned lo the Unil- ed States. "It will take a lot of time," Crow said. "I was told I have to go through Washington nnrt Mexico City channels lo bring him back. I just don't know at this time." Thaxlon-Crow, former student student at Texas Christian University University and Texas AM, went with three other college students students Dec. 22 for a holiday in Â·Mexico City. The other three had returned by Dec. 30. Thaxlon - Crow believed lo have gone lo Acapulco Acapulco for New Years.
