A raging wind that made the streets ot the town almost impassable impassable caused several small fires and resulted in several ,1 call s worries resi- dents. Tossie and his men were kept out in the blizzard almost all night. Weakened by exposure and smoke, Tossie's heart gave out and he died this morning. Tossie \\as gassed in a fire Min-' n vo years ago, but was believed ro- be pro- to have completely recovered his health. ITe had a reputation for going into dangerous places an others feared to penetrate and was well known throughout the stati*. He was 45 years of age and is survived by a widow and three young sons.
