f<vVWl<ler Square Dealer. of age, son of Ellin Halliburton, deceased, was killed at C. Sehulu's gin a few miles east of Waelder, bf August Souimerfleld, a German, about 2:30 p, m. last Saturday. Mr, Sominerfleld was unloading some cotton from a wagon . under a shed, when Dan Halliburton, with three other boys, climbed upon the shed aud begun to tease the German German by spitting through a crack, in the roof. Hoiomeifleld grew tired of the sport and sought to drive them nwuf by punching upward against tbe roof with a rod of Iron taken from the bed of his wagon. Tiie rod passed through a crack, staking the lad above tbe left eye and penetrating his skull. The boy cried when tbe rod struck him, but was soon senseless. Horn- merfleld secured a hack and conveyed conveyed the uucoucious victim to his home, where he died at 5-JW Sunday morning without regaining Mn senses. According to the verdict verdict rendered by Justice .K. W. Walker tbe occurrence was iwrely uucid«nt»l. ^
