Krumbaar the Democratic candidate for Sheriff who treated them proper consideration while he was an attorney for the mill operator, Dr. Bray. It could be Patrick, Sr, (1828-1896) or Patrick Jr, (1859-1919). Both were engineers for print works according to the Census and city directory.
