Nuptials of Miss Charlotte Ann Chessmore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis C. Chessmore and Richard L. Burandt. son of Mr. and Mrs. Ei-nest F. Burandt were held at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 8 in the First Christian church, Shawnee, Okla. The double ring ceremony was performed b.\' the Rev. Ben KiUion. A background of palms and baskets of pink and while carnations and gladioli with lighted tapers was the setting. iMrs. Dean Finch was organist and Miss ,Joy Whitson, vocalist. Kseorted by her father who gave her in marriage, the bride wore a flooi' length gown of delustered satin fashioned in A-linc style. The bodice of I 'eembi-oidered Alcneon lace had an oval neckline, edged in seed pearls, and bell sleeves in elbow length. Self buttons fastened the back. Iler chapel length train of satin was attached.at the waistline. She wore a veil of imported English tulle attached to an Alen- con lace crown which was encrusted with pearls. She carried a bou- tiuel of white rosebuds.' Maid of honor was Miss Donna Kay Barnes of Albuquerque, N. Mex., and bridesmaids ^were-Mrs.] Marvin Daniclson of Iios Angeles, sister of the groom and Mrs. Wyndall Loyd, jr., of Midwest City, cousin of the bride. They wore floor length gowns of pink mirror mist over satin with an oval neckline and skirt fullness gathered in the back. Tlieir headdresses were of pink tulle and a full bloom pink rose. They carried nosegays of pink rosebuds. Franklin Burandt of Tulsa, brother of the groom was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Ste\e Chessmore,. brother of the bride and Marvin Danielson of Los Angeles, brother-in-law of the groom. The reception was in the Fellowship Hall. The bride's table, laid with white organdy had an arrangement of pink cai'nations and white candles. The thi'ee-liered wedding cake was crested with white wedding bells. Assistants were i\Iiss Chris Townsend of Tulsa, Mrs. Franklin Burandt of Tulsa, Miss Ronda Cooper of Manhattan, cousin of the bride. Hosts were Mr. and Mrs. ICiigene R. Spillman of Midwest City and Mrs. Walter Chessmore of Fort Worth. Mrs. Mike Hefner of Oklahoma City presided at the bride's book. Mrs. Burandt is a graduate of Oklahoma Slate in Stillwater with a degree in'home economics. Mr. Burandt has a liachelor of science degree from Kansas Slate University |aiid. received a masters degree in mechanical engineering pom Oklahoma Slate. The coijplc' will 'reside in Burbank, Calif.,, where Mr. Burandt is employed bj' Lockheed. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest F. Burandt were hosts for the rehearsal dinner '> Saturday, June 7 at the Log House ' in Shawnee.
