He would have bean to years old on Dec. 13. Mr. Holler was ' born In Boston, was In charge of th Uoeton Wster Works from 117 to l2, and from that trne to Jew was In chsrge of the Jersey City Vater Works, Hs planned tbe erection of the first water works of Newark. Coming to Washington In 1878 he became Computing Engineer of the District Government and waa employed by the District Government since then. Hie wtfo wee M ss Hannah M. Ryder of Jersey Oty. who died last year. Of their nine children seven are living, one f whom la Theodore F. Bailey of Newark. :
