rwE TIPTON (INDIANA) DAIJV TRIBUNE WHS Cross Boys Receive Letters By Vickie Everling This year nine boys received letters for running cross country.. Mr. Watson awarded a trophy to the boy who scored the lowest number of points. This year Bob Lee, center.a junior, received this trophy. Bob is 17 years old and he lives with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Trosper, at route 1 Windfall. Bob also plays basketball on the Varsity Team. Break for youngsters HOLLYWOOD (UPI)-Two Nashville. Tenn., youngsters Robert. Prescott and Margaret Ann Morris, both 13. will play featured roles with Oregory'Peek and Estclle ('arsons in "An Exile" on location in Tennessee. FFA Sweetheart Miss Susan Adler waschosenfromfivecandidatesby the Sharpsville-Prairie High School FFA boys ks the FFA Sweetheart this last week. We at WHS wish to extend bur congratulations to these fine boys. SdnshineHolds j Initiation •, j By Vickie Everling On Monday, November .10 at 7:00 p.m. the S.SJS. held its formal initiation at the Methodist Church. After the formal ini- . tiation, the freshmen and senior girls went to the school gym to hold the "fun" initiation. First the seniors decorated their slaves legs, "arms and face with lipstick. Then the freshmen g i 1 s were taken out to Prit-t chard's and put into a pig pen, •and! asked to walk with the pigs.. We went back to the school. The girls were asked to sing the. great song, "We Love You Seniors". They did a great job of: singing that beautiful song. Girls that were initiated were: Joni Martin, Cheri Case, Terri Case, Deb! Yohe, Deb Harden, Joyce Tuggle, Rhonda Holder, Candy Hunley, Denise Smith, BarbTho- mas, Jo Summers, Kathy Browning, Je a ante Browning, and Teresa Miller^ 'A; lot more things; happened when we got back to the gym but •-. they-, are too numerous to mention; . Friday,- November 14, the freshmen girls came to government class and gave use the privilege of hearing them sing that great song "We Love You Seniors". Also on Friday, the Senior-girls were served liinch by the freshmen girls. .'.
