On "No-Pay" Strike From tbe Gonzales Inquirer we learn that the taxpayers of Waelder, in Gonzales county, are on a "no-pay"' strike, and refuse to pay their taxes until something is done about collecting delinquent taxes in that community. It is said that over $3000 is due the city from these delinquents, and no apparent effort Is being made by the authorities to collect it. This delinquent tax matter is getting to be a problem in many communities. A start has been made here in the matter of enforcing payment, and it may eventually result In the collection of many thousands of dollars in the way of delinquent taxes.
