Somerset Dally American, Tuesday, May 1,1973 Death Notices L atuch Philip B. Latuch, 86, of Rockwood RD 1, died April 30, 1973 in Somerset Community Hospital. Bom Aug. 5, 1886 in Russia, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Anna Gavronsky, and one sister. Survived by the following children: Philip B. of Carrolltown, Ohio; Alexander of Somerset RD 1; Anthony, Theodore and Miss Irene of RD 1, Rockwood, and Wanda Fodder of Levittown, Pa., 17 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was a retired employe of the B & 0 Railroad as an electrician and also a dairy farmer. Friends will be received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today there funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Father Samuel Tomaselli officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park. Rosary will be recited 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. LYNN Harold S. (Dick) Lynn, 55, East Main Street, Somerset, died April 30, 1973, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born in Fairfield Township near Ligonier on March 10, 1918, a son of the late Milford S. and Alda (Korb) Lynn. Surviving are his widow, Jean Ellenberger Lynn; two children, David S., Somerset, and Rachel L., wife of James W. Scofield, Johnstown; two sisters, Esther, wife of Foster Zeunges, Ligonier, and Mrs. Margaret Haynes, Wichita Falls. Texas; and a brother. Edward McAuliffe, Champion. Member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Somerset; American l egion Post 181, Somerset; veteran of World War II, served with the U.S. Marine Corps. Owner and manager of Moore’s In Town Motel. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m.. the Rev. Robert G. Doyle officiating. Interment, Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville. koONTZ William J. Koontz, 49, North Madison, Ohio, formerly of Stoystown, died April 29, 1973, in Cleveland. He was born March 15, 1924, in Somerset County, a son of Wächter and Grace (Griffith) Koontz of Stoystown. He is also survived by his widow, the former Gladys Wilson; these children; Ronald of Boswell; Terry, Laura and Mike, at home. He was a brother of: Lloyd E. of Blairsville; Mrs. Donald (Jane) Barnett, Chambersburg; Dennis J. of Hooversville. He was employed by Towmotor of Mentor, Ohio; a World War II veteran; a member of Robert Hite American Legion Post, Stoystown. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where serv ices will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Herbert G. Hohman. Interment, Odd Fellow’s Cemetery, Stoystown.
