Morgan R. Lacock & Nellie Lacock - 50th Anniv.
Area Couple To Observe Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Morgan R. Lacock will observe their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, November 12. Open house will be held at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Kenyon Nicholl, Ellsworth Heights, Ellsworth, where friends and relatives are invited to call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Nellie Mitchell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Mich- Mich- ell, and Morgan R. Lacock, son of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Lacock, were married Novem ber 12, 1910, in Cumberland, Md. by Reverend L. S. Rudasdll. They have resided at Washing ton R. D. 3 their entire married life. Mr. Lacock worked in the oil fields for 45 years retiring from the Dunn Mar Oil and Gas Co. in 1952. Since that time he has been a part-time part-time part-time employe of Senator Edward Martin. Mrs. Lacock is a charter mem ber of the Tingooqua Club, an auxiliary organization of Wash ington Hospital. She is an active member of 'the Twilight Club, African Violet Society and the Route 40 Homemakers Gub. They are both members of the Second Christian Church where Mr. Lacock is a deacon emeritus. emeritus. Mr. and Mrs. Lacock are parents parents of two children; Martha, wife of Kenyon Nicholl, of Ellsworth and Robert M. Lacock, of Washington. Washington. They have five grandchildren, grandchildren, Val and Luanne Nicholl, Bonnie, Sandra and Von Dale Lacock.
