Stockton Stockton, 111., Oct. 23.—Thomas Tucker, who was a surgical patient at St. Francis hospital, Freeport, some weeks ago, has been returned to the hospital for medical care. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Nagel and laughter June recently visited at ;he home of Mr. 'and Mrs. Warren Carroll, in Indianapolis, Ind. They made a trip by plane to Washington, Washington, D. C., returning home last week. Mrs. H. L. Heer, of Galena, a former teacher In Stockton, reports that both her grandsons, aged 4 and 1U- years, respectively, are Victims Victims of polio. Both are recovering nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Wnrren Carroll, of Indianapolis, Ind., visited over the week-end with Mrs. Carroll's par ems, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Nagel. Mr. and Mrs. Derryl Evans left Saturday morning for an extended trip through the south, their desti nation being Florida. Rev. and Mrs. E. O. Machamei drove to the Dells. Wis-., recently. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kaufmann mid sons and Mr. and Mrs. Melvir Schapp and family drove to Cedar Falls, _Ia. 1 Sunday, and visited
