Crearon's body was discovered by county authorities, who were called to the airport. It is believed that Creason shot himself in the head early last evening. A single-barrel, 12-gauge shotgun was found beside the body, the stock end of it protruding out the cpen front wir.dcw of the car, on the side facing off the road. Sheriff John Page said' the car in which the body was found is the property of Creason's Creason's father-in-law, Tobe West. Gene Smith Calls Police Gene Smith gave the officers^heir firrt. notice of the death, calling them this morning to say that he had just passed the car and noticed blood on it. He said he had not stopped as he passed, but later thought of it as a matter that should be reported. Page and Undersheriff Lee Stith found Creason's body slumped in the front seat of the car, a 1920 model four-door Chevrolet. The vehicle was parked about half way between Kentucky street and the north- south road leading to the airport. It was headed east. Low Spirits Yesterday Russell Yarton.. operator of the airpcrt north of town, told Page that Creason had been there yesterday, was dispirited, end spoke of taking his own life. Yarton said he tried to reassure him and finally Creason had fallen asleep there. He later departed, however, without Yarton's knowledge, the latter said 1 .
