Weyauwega, WI Age 78, died surrounded by his family Monday, April 28, 2003 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ap-pleton Ap-pleton Ap-pleton following a brief illness. He was born September 13, . 1924 in Fremont, Wisconsin son of the late Arthur and Dorothea (Marquardt) Schwirtz. On June 17, 1950, Earnway married Elizabeth Elizabeth Anderson in Waupaca, Wisconsin. Earnway was currently working as a bagger at Pick 'n' Save Grocery Grocery Store in Waupaca, where he was known as "Ernie the Bagger". Bagger". He had previously farmed in Fremont for 15 years, worked at the Neenah Foundry for 20 . years, drove school bus for 12 years and served as the sexton at Lakeside Cemetery in Fremont for 32 years. Earnway loved spending time with his grandchildren. grandchildren. He was also an avid Packer fan and enjoyed riding motorcycles and flying airplanes. airplanes. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; Elizabeth; three sons: Terry (Jean), Waupaca; Brad (Jenni), Weyauwega; Chad (special friend, Jera), Fremont; two daughters: Brenda (fiance, Dan Lash), Waupaca; Vicki (Richard) Jones, Weyauwega; 10 grandchildren: Chris, Josh, Karen, Travis, Tyler, Zack, Mark, Tonya, Caragan and Bryanna; two great-grandchil great-grandchil great-grandchil dren; Keandra and Kylie. Earnway was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Cora Jones. Funeral services will be Thursday, Thursday, May 1, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Zittau, Rev.
