The research research has been thorough and faithful. But the author has fleshed out the narrative with intimate, graphic details of imaginary but rationally plausible plausible scenes, sounds and human ect is Freddy Hamilton, a mother-dominated mother-dominated bachelor in the foreign office, who surprises even himself by kidnapping Barbara from a nunnery to expedite expedite the escapade. Barbara also becomes en- were expanded lacking in plot. This s thing entirely different. Yet toward the end the story zips along like an espionage espionage novel. Miss Spark is brilliant at characterization, has her own brand of dry, deadpan humor, and in (his inventive story gives the reader a memorable tale.
