Central Ohio Road Sections Opening Friday COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) Motor Motor travel to north and north- wstern Ohio areas will be eased Friday, Dec. 13, with opening of portions of three major traffic arteries in Central Central Ohio. The state highway department department plans ribbon-cutting ceremonies ceremonies on that date for a sec- ion, ot Interstate 270 between Interstate 71 and Ohio 3 near Columbus, 18.6 miles of U.S. 23 including the Marion bypass, and 4.7 miles of U.S. 33 northwest northwest of Dublin in Franklin County. The Interstate 270-Ohio 3 in ;erchange south of Westerville will be the scene of a ribbon' cutting at 9 a. m., opening to traffic about 2.5 miles of the Columbus Outerbelt. When the U.S. 23 section is opened at 11 a.m., motorists will be able to travel non-stop on the four-lane, limited access highway between Toledo and Columbus. The 18.6 miles, constructed in four sections, are the last in a i-mile U.S. 23 reconstruction and-relocation project to provide provide multi - lane highways between between the two cities. Ceremon ies will be held at the U.S. 23- U.S. 30s interchange east of Marion. The 4.7-mile U.S. 33 section to be opened connects the Marys ville bypass with a reconstruct ed section of the route west o Dublin. Because of the remote ness of the section, official cer monies may not be conducted It extends between interchang es at U.S. 42 and Ohio 161.
